Collection: Ann and Ken Bartley

Focusing mainly on photography, digital art and super 8 films , Ann and Ken have been invited to show at the Naughton Gallery at Queen's, the Assembly Rooms, Catalyst Arts, Queen Street Studios, Tate Modern and Tate Britain, the latter two as part of a larger, collaborative work, and a solo show at the Frameworks gallery.  They have also successfully submitted works to the Royal Ulster Academy's annual show. 

They have organised and curated shows for other artists at various venues such as the Black Box, The Good Shepherd Conference Centre, the Linen Hall Library and the ArtTank Gallery.

Ann ran the very successful 'Belfast UnBound' dance company for a number of years, while Ken worked for the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for almost twenty years.  Ann has a doctorate from Queen’s University while Ken has co-authored an Atlas of Medieval History, published by Manchester University Press.  They have also organised a range of music events in Belfast, including the Monochrome Set at Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, the American Jazz Musician, Roy Ayers, at the Empire and the contemporary electronic musician, Scanner, at the Belfast International Arts Festival. Ken was previously the Chair of the Digital Arts Studios and a member of the steering group of the Belfast Visual Arts Forum.
