Lisa Ballard ARUA

Lisa Ballard is a fine artist, primarily known for her emotive paintings of landscapes.  Since graduating in 2003, she has received many prestigious awards, including the President’s Prize at the Royal Ulster Academy and the Kilkenny Art Gallery Prize. Her work is held in many private and public collections, including by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Irish Office of Public Works. 

“I am drawn to the temporal in the landscape, experiences such as the constantly changing light, the seasons, waiting for a grey sky to clear or the fleeting light of dawn and twilight. I try to capture how it is to be in that moment and place.”

​Lisa is an Associate Member of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts​.
