Ciarán Harper is a Fine Art graduate of Ulster University, Belfast, specialising in painting. Since leaving SERC in Downpatrick in 2011, where he achieved his National Diploma in the study of Art & Design, he has completed several commissions and exhibited in both solo and group shows.
His most recent work is inspired, by diaspora and how this can be translated in art. After a successful sell-out degree show, including winning the prestigious Carson McDowell Award, he has had featured in solo and group shows across Northern Ireland.
Ciaran has received a number of notable commissions, including for the African and Caribbean Support Organisation Northern Ireland (ACSONI) commemoration of the slave trade.
Ciaran has artwork included in the Arts Council of Northern Ireland's permanent collection and for the Northern Ireland Civil Service Art Collection.
